For some time, we have both shared a dream of being able to have our own Shepherd’s Hut and back in July 2020, this finally fell into place and we set the wheels in motion.

We dragged out an old bale trailer that was just sat fading away at the farm and began to put a plan together.

​

We spent hours together deciding the best way to go about building and where we would source our materials from, trying to ensure that we could support local, as much as possible and then we set to it.

Long evenings turned into early mornings, weekends were given up, all whilst still running a busy farm, but it was so worth it and ultimately we all thoroughly enjoyed the process, very much.

This couldn’t have been possible without my Dad, Malcolm. He put in many hours of his spare time and worked tirelessly with us to ensure that we stayed on target and that we were finished in time.

We also had the help from some very good friends who put their skills to good use to help us out. We couldn’t have done it without you all and we are ever grateful.

And of course, none of this would have been possible without Farmer. He always has such a positive outlook and such an enthusiasm to prove that anything is possible.

I truly am ever grateful to him, for showing me that we can achieve anything, and to always be positive.

We will soon be on our way to opening our doors and welcoming our first guests. I can’t explain how incredibly proud this makes us feel.
